60/40mm Lowering Setup

The 60/40mm configuration is intended to lower the front approximately
60mm and the rear approximately 40mm compared with the applicable standard ride height.
This gives the Golf 1 a more pronounced front drop and a balanced performance-inspired stance.

Lowering measurements are approximate and should not be treated as a guaranteed final
vehicle height. Individual vehicles may sit slightly higher or lower once the springs
have been installed and settled.

Fitment

These lowering springs replace the applicable factory coil springs. As suspension
components directly affect vehicle handling and safety, professional installation
by a qualified suspension fitment centre or mechanic is strongly recommended.

The condition and suitability of the vehicle’s shocks, bump stops, top mounts and other
suspension components should be checked during installation. Additional suspension
components may require replacement depending on the condition and setup of the vehicle.

A wheel alignment should be performed after installation, and tyre-to-body,
wheel-to-arch and suspension clearances should be checked before normal road use.
